New Crop Loan (S.A.O)

Crop loans for cultivation / Agricultural operations will be issued to members of the affiliated societies. Such loans will be issued for the cultivation of Maize – Cotton – Chillies –Jowar etc. A n exclusive section “PACSs Development Cell” is established at Head Office to look after , and boost related activities of agriculture , marketing requirements of farmers Improvement of Financial Position of PACSs. Looping Catering to the needs of Farmers / Agri-preneurs with specific attention on developing PACS s as Multi Service Centrers .
Eligibility	Agriculturists, Persons engaged in allied activities like Diary/Poultry ,Planters, Horticulturists etc. who are the members of affiliated PACS s
Period	Loans granted for a period not exceeding twelve months, except in case of sugarcane crops are called Medium Term Loans.
Interest Rate	As per the orders of Government of Karnataka at present Crop Loans bears no interest ,i.e Lending at 0%
Other Facilities	All Crop Loan Holders are being issued with Kissan Credit Cards. and Kissan Consumer Loan is additionaly advanced to eligible farmers. All Eligible Loanee farmers are Covered with Personal Accidental Insurance with nominal premium of Rs.5 from each Farmers.
